My Story
Why I Created Veterans Disability Rating Help (VDRH)
My name is Sam Wolf, and I am a retired, disabled veteran with over 30 years of experience working within the VA as a Claims Specialist, Processor, and Rating Specialist.
During my time at the VA, I witnessed countless Veterans—men and women who had endured traumatic, life-threatening injuries and lifelong conditions—struggle to get the support they rightfully earned through their service. Many were overlooked, under-evaluated, or denied benefits entirely. I saw their frustration, their pain, and their deep sense of betrayal.
That’s when I knew something had to change.
I started Veterans Disability Rating Help (VDRH) to be that change—to stand in the gap for those who served and sacrificed. I knew I could use my insider knowledge, experience, and passion to make the VA system work for Veterans, not against them.
But my mission goes beyond just the paperwork.
I understand what it means to wear the uniform—and what it means to carry the weight of that service long after the uniform comes off. I also recognize the sacrifices made by military families, who often go unseen. That’s why VDRH is just as committed to helping the spouses and dependents of Veterans get the benefits they deserve, too.
